Mathematics - Logarithm
In this quarter for mathematics, I learned about logarithm. Logarithm is the way to solve a mathematical problem which helps us to determine the value of a certain exponential problems. Our first assessment is an Investigation Test, where we are tested to recognise the basic laws of logarithm and how we are able to apply those in a real life problem. I think that I did well in that investigation test that is assessed based on three criteria which are Criterion B Investigating Patterns (7 out of 8), Criterion C Thinking (5 out of 8), and Criterion D Applying Mathematics in Real Life Context (5 out of 8). I think that the reason why I got good score is because I am organised with my data, where I inserted tables. I also thinks that I did well in my Criterion A Test, where I got 5 out of 8. We as a class actually got a remedial, because the first time we had the test, i t was for the level in grade 12, and our teacher thinks that we will have a remedial. What I got from the first test is 3, and when I did the remedial, I got a 5. I think that I can do it because I learn more and practice more until I am able to do all of the different problem and get a good score. How this subject relates to the Intercultural Awareness is how we as a class can solve this kind of problem by using different perspective and ways. My classmates who have different opinion and method make me able to see the different culture that helps me understand more on how to solve the problem.
