In this first unit for english, I learned how to make a good writing and a good speech. In a good writing, I learned about making an Informative essay about my chosen province, which is West Kalimantan. In writing the informative speech, I improved my writing skills, organizing information I got from the research, make an outline for what to write in the essay later. Other than that, I also learned that in the informative essay, there should not be any opinion or moral, because this essay is an informative, and I should only put information in that essay.
I learned about presenting a good speech. I learned how to make an outline, that it is later used for me to be a palm cards. The speech is actually a visual form of my informative essay. First of all, i made an outline for the speech guide. I put the information in the correct order, introduction - body - conclusion. In making a palm-cards, I put what I need to say in bullet points, so that when i do my speech, I would not confused of what I have to say. I need to use clear pronunciation so that what I am saying is easily understood by the audience. I got a pretty high score in the speech, but I need to improve in my fluency in speaking, more rarely using "um,,"
I put English in knowledgeable, because I got a new knowledge by this lesson.

This lesson develop my understanding about dances in West Kalimantan, which is my chosen province. It can help me or other to know more about dances in Indonesia, in West Kalimantan, and to get them get away from the extinct.

The impact for the community so that the people will get to know more about beautiful dances in Indonesia that maybe most of them even don't know it and help to preserve them from extinct.
