Design Technology
For the logo, first of all we have planned and make 3 different logo, that in the end we will chose the one that fulfill all the criteria. In DT class this quarter, my friends and I did so many things.
First, we make a logo that represent our province, with 3 different things inside it, and put our logo in a shirt. For the logo, first of all we have planned and make 3 different logo, that in the end we will chose the one that fulfill all the criteria with making a table. At the end, I already chose the best logo and then try to print the logo in the printing paper. Before we got our first trial to print the design, we got our very first time ironing in the clothe Ibu Lisa had gave us. After all that trial, finally I can iron my final result at home. Actually, I already give my best to do it, but maybe I'm so nervous to iron in, so that in the edge of the logo I have already stick it in the t-shirt, didn't really sticky.
We did dip dyeing also, we put a rubber on a clothe and dipping in to a colors. We also did making a batik. The first step is that use a clothe and put it in a round things that clamp the clothe. The second step, is that we have to use "centing" to take the wax out of the pan. My friend and I got a little accident, which the hot wax from the pan get to our feet. Yes, it is really smarting, but now its get back to normal. After wax-ing the clothe, the next meeting we got a chance to dip our batik to the water, napthol, and garam water, and the last is to dip our batik to hot water, so that the wax will be off and there will be white lines. For the future improvement, I will get my logo done, without velocity so that the result will be good. I show inquirer because I really wanted to know how people made batik and how they make it neat and good.

Reflection
1. How does each lesson contribute to developing my understanding about Indonesia?
This lesson helps me to know more about Batik, how to use a wax to create a good sense of batik, and also making a logo that promoting a province so that people in Indonesia or maybe from out of Indonesia will visit them.
2. What could be the impact for the community?
The impact for the community is that to make other people know more about Indonesia, even if the province is not that knows by people outside Indonesia.
3. What will I do in the future to develop my awareness?
I will dig the information in Indonesia and helps other people and can explain to them.

This is my first, second, and third logo. I chose the 3rd one, that I circled with a red line.
